Founded in 1983, Teknetics became part of the first Texas products family in 1989. The engineers at Teknetics set out to change the metal detecting industry in the early 2000’s. Thus followed one of the most popular metal detectors on the market, the T2. The T2 was the winner of the 12th & 13th Grand National Relic shootout.
They pride themselves on creating “easy to learn” detectors while not sacrificing power and performance. Teknetics continue to invent and market popular metal detectors and perhaps not the most popular brand in the detecting world they certainly are making waves.
